British Nuclear Testing - An Introduction

About

Brith Nuclear Testing - An Introduction will introduce you to the history of the UK's participation in Nuclear Testing worldwide. Britain was heavily involved in the development of the Atomic Bomb, participating in the Manhattan Project. The course is split into 9 sessions, each of between 15 and 30 minutes in length. They have all been pre-recorded so that you can watch the sessions at your leisure and rewatch any session as you require. We have developed this course because the UK Nuclear Testing program is not taught in schools, it is not part of any educational curriculum. (Apart from the Welsh Baccalaureate where you can choose it as a topic) You can login and out as many times as required, clicking on each session as required. It is recommended that you follow the course in session order as they follow the timeline from 1952 to 1991. At the end of the course you will be presented with a certificate of completion. We hope that this course will be used by educational establishments, schools, colleges and universities as well as MP’s, campaigners and individuals who want to learn more. LABRATS serves as a representative body for the global Nuclear Community, welcoming individuals to become Associate Members.
