Welcome to our free online course which provides you with an introduction into Britain's role in Nuclear Testing. Starting in 1952 and completing in 1991, the UK tested 45 atmospheric weapons, undertook approximately 600 'Minor Trials' and performed 24 underground tests in Nevada.
